This is one of our favorite pictures of our gato. But something that is even better and more funny than this picture happened the other day in the car.
We were driving the 30 minute drive from the grandparents house and we were all silently enjoying our own thing. No one was talking, I had some country music on the radio, and Supermom was reading. Suddenly, Supermom blurts out:
“That proves it even more!”
Shocked and slightly confused, I look around to see if she has an imaginary friend she is talking to or what. I see nothing and she looks at me as if to say, “Don’t you agree babe!” I am still confused and my mind is continuing to try and figure out “What proves what even more?????”
Turns out, she was having a conversation with herself about what she was reading and tried to include me about half way.
I laughed so hard I started to cry. When she asked why, I told her:
“You just interjected a statement into an imaginary conversation you were having with me and expected me to respond in agreement! I don’t even know what your reading that would even give me a context for a response. I couldn’t even agree or disagree with you, and the funny thing is, you were expecting me to respond.”
I love being married and love my wife dearly. I wish we had more times like this where we could just laugh with each other. It really made the rest of the drive home fly by.
