		<description>Wow, that&#039;s crazy!  It seems so many parents these days are trying to outdo each other.  Not only in snacks, like you&#039;ve noticed, but in birthday parties, presents, what&#039;s in the Easter basket, etc.  It goes on and on!  It&#039;s no longer &quot;keeping up with the Joneses&quot;, it&#039;s &quot;let&#039;s beat the Joneses!&quot;

Why can&#039;t we keep things simple?  Our kids don&#039;t need all this STUFF!  What is it teaching them?  I want my kids to appreciate the little things, to be thankful for small things, to not care what other people think or are doing or getting or have.  Let&#039;s get back to the basics, here!  Stand your ground!  Don&#039;t be sucked into their game!</description>
